I want to say it is the awesome looking doors, but that can't be it. I wonder how the drive though. I know the FD was amazing, apparently. This does look a bit heftier than the FD though.

Weights for the FC and FD were fairly close. The exception being the convertibles. IIRC, the FCs were, generally, a little lighter than the FDs.

As for driving one, the only time that I've driven an FC was in a flipped FC with a cage and no windshield that I bought for the motor. Driving down a country road in a car missing it's windshield is quite an experience.

Driving an FB, however, is sublime.

As far as styling goes, FCs are rather boring, in my opinion. The FB was a wedge, the FD was curvaceous, the FC was neither.

I still have dreams of building an 13B using N/A FC rotors with FD housings and a small turbo with about 8 PSi to put in my FB that is withering away.
